Access codes and quotas

This article explains the Practice free trial, program access codes, and subscription plans. It applies to Practice users.

Free trial​

New Practice accounts include a lifetime free trial of 2 evaluations (not a monthly reset).

  1. Create a Practice account from the login page (Create an account → Practice).
  2. Run up to two practice evaluations to experience feedback and comparison.
  3. When the trial is used, open Account → Plan & access to continue.

After your first free evaluation, Practice may show a gentle reminder that you have one evaluation left. When none remain, you’ll see options to apply a code or choose a plan before starting another evaluation.

Program access code​

Many programs (for example Summer Studio) provide an access code that unlocks additional Practice capacity.

  1. Open Account → Plan & access.
  2. Enter the code under Program access code (example: SUMMERSTUDIO2026).
  3. Select Apply code.

You can also enter a code during signup if you already have one. A successful redeem may show an access badge on Evaluate with program details.

A program access code unlocks Practice for your cohort. An instructor connect code links you to a specific course. They are not interchangeable. See Link a course.

Subscription plans​

Under Account → Plan & access, you can upgrade to Practice Plus:

  • $12 / month — 20 AI evaluations per month
  • $99 / year — same monthly allotment, billed annually

When online checkout is available, Subscribe opens Stripe. If checkout is not configured yet, contact support or apply a program code instead.

When you run out of evaluations​

  1. Open Account → Plan & access.
  2. Apply a program code from your coach, instructor, or organization.
  3. Or choose a subscription plan / contact support for paid access.
  4. Contact support if a badge looks wrong after a successful redeem.
