Speech instructors already produce rich judgment when they evaluate performances. Little of that judgment becomes structured, comparable campus data. This talk frames the listening-time constraint, what an instructor-finalized evaluation can retain as a data record, and how instructors and administrators can use category-level evidence—drawing on SpeechGradebook (an independent ValidBound product) and lessons from a Summer 2026 campus pilot.
